Channeling the best of the 50s and 60s, Shannon and the Clams is a Oakland based band that somehow wandered into a time machine and ended up in our generation bringing with it all the best music stylings of those past eras and have even shared the stage with legends such as Ronnie Spector of The Ronettes.
Yesterday, the band released their first single titled “Corvette” off their new album “Gone By The Dawn” out September 11 in a music video. “Corvette” is something you can slow dance with your honey to, something out of a 1963 prom playlist.
On the same day, Paper Tiger announced that Shannon and the Clams will be coming to the venue on Saturday Oct. 3 along with San Francisco based band Cool Ghouls. Tickets are already on sale.
