Eagles of Death Metal Release Statement Following Paris Attacks

5 days after the terrorist attacks that took place in Paris, Eagles of Death Metal have released a statement via Twitter after 87 people were killed at their sold out show at the Bataclan Theatre.

Although no one in the band got hurt, European Merchandise Manager Nick Alexander was one of the 87 that had lost their lives that night. Alexander had worked with other bands who shared their condolences such as Bethany Cosentino from Best Coast.

In light of the events, the world and music industry are both shaken up and musicians have begun cancelling their European tours such as Foo Fighters, Deftones, Marilyn Manson and U2. However, musicians such as Wavves and San Antonio's Nothing More have gone ahead and pushed forward with their tours.
