"The opening band, from Galveston put on a good show with great interaction with a responsive crowd and were laid back dudes," said Romero.

The lead singer from Wilson crowd surfed from the top of the orchestra level down to the stage. According to Romero,"this band was bad ass and did an awesome cover of Nazareth's "Hair of The Dog" (now you're messin with a son of a bitch). They were full of energy with stage diving and crowd surfing, to singing with the crowd inside the audience."

"Jonny Hawkins said he was grateful to have been back in San Antonio to play, not only for their die-hard fans from when they first started, but for all the new fans they picked up along the way." said Romero.
