Colleen Green Coming to K23 Gallery

Colleen Green Coming to K23 Gallery

Colleen Green stops by San Antonio September 17 at K23 Gallery. Junkie, Rotten Mangoes, and Que Pasa will be in-tow and get there early, set times will be a little earlier than most K23 events. A lot is being written about Colleen Green at the moment due to her new album I Want To Grow Up, her music is widely described as "indie-pop" but .. no. The album is more like a heroin-chic, nihilistic post-pop punk album right out of 1995, but don't let that fool you, the music is still fresh and bright and a good time (but with cutting lyrics whose irony makes us uneasy with their deep truths).

"Deeper Than Love" can be heard on Colleen Green's I Want to Grow Up, out now on Hardly Art records.
