34 year old metal heathens Slayer are having quite a busy year. Apart from the "American Carnage Tour" with thrasher peers Anthrax and Megadeth (a trio that hasn't joined forces since 1991), they are finishing up their first album in six years titled "Repentless" due out September 11. They've released single called "Chasing Death".
“I’m losing friends to addiction… I’m losing friends to a lot of things you don’t expect, and then when it starts happening, it pisses you off. It was kind of me venting about it,” explains Kerry King in the video below.
Hopefully, they'll give metalheads of the Alamo City a little more taste of "Repentless" this Friday July 31 when they perform for Tramission Events; Mayhem Fest at Alamo City Music Hall alongside bands such as King Diamond, The Devil Wears Prada, WhiteChapel, and Code Orange.
Tickets are conveniently still available for $66.60 here.
